where we sleep
Where We Sleep transformed four glass houses in Amsterdam into temporary public bedrooms for 18 days.
People found and used the space freely, sharing routines, interactions, and moments of reflection.
The houses became a site of collective life. unpredictable, chaotic, fragile and alive.
The project shows how public space can be used for care, connection, and dignity.
It was developed during a residency with Mediamatic and selected through their Open Call.
The project is still evolving. I’m documenting, reflecting, and learning from the experience
to see how these ideas might support more inclusive public spaces.
