During my residency with Mediamatic, I created the Welcome? Blog series to investigate how cities can be more inclusive and supportive, particularly for people living without housing. Drawing on personal experience and field research, the project explored how public spaces can meet basic needs and foster community, connection, and care. Through
observation, reflection, and design proposals, it proposed creative, human-centered interventions for a more welcoming urban environment.
